Crane Overload Detection
LIMITLOAD LS units can be used on overhead cranes to effectively reduce the possibility of overload conditions. By clamping onto a static rope the unit can sense the load and switch out at a pre-set level.
Slack Rope Detection
LIMITLOAD SR units can also be used to sense when crane ropes go slack or lifting beams bottom out.
The units will fit most types of overhead crane covering rope loads up to 100kN (10.2 tonnes) and diameters up to 24mm. Simple to install LIMITLOAD is an effective answer to overload protection.
