GRL Designs have been manufacturing Limitload crane overloads for more than 30 years providing a very reliable low cost solution to overload protection.

The original LS design is electro mechanical using a micro switch to detect overload or slack rope conditions.

An updated LSW version is fitted with 2 syncronised switches providing additional safety and satisfying the requirements of BS EN12077-2 & BS EN13849-2.

These compact units simply bolt onto a static wire rope and detect the load. Units are available up to 100kN (10,200kg) load on the rope and rope diameters up to 24mm
